Both the Knysna Cycle Tour and the Knysna Oyster Festival are scheduled for that weekend and it's going to be bigger and better than ever. The 10-day Knysna Oyster Festival has become renowned for offering an array of tastes and flavours of spectacular succulent oysters. Take part in the oyster celebrations with many different suppliers providing the opportunity to dine on perfect oysters in a variety of different ways, mixing up tastes and flavours. Take part in the mountain bike races which have distance options of 15km, 30km, 50km and and 80km options. The road event options of 50km and 100km and a child race so the whole family can get involved. Even more of a reason to take part is the 50km and the 80km mountain races have been selected as a official seeding event of the 2014 Cape Argus. Last but not least the races is the largest fund-raiser for the Rotary Club of South Africa.
