Eendracht Hotel: Koeksister's Galore!

From the beginning of the 19th century, life at the Cape demonstrated “la dolce vita”.
“Eat and be merry”, they said and ate the sweet “Koeksisters” at their festivities. 

“Koeksisters” are made from soft dough, cut up into strips, plaited, deep-fried in oil, and then dipped in ice-cold spiced syrup. 

These mouth-watering treats are available at our very own Koffieklets restaurant, situated in the hotel.
