Uwe Koeter moves into Cape Quarter

Cape Town 5 June 2012; AFTER almost a year of planning and preparation, Uwe Koetter Jewellers is proud to announce that we have opened at the stylish Cape Quarter Lifestyle Village, Somerset Road in Green Point. Our showroom and workshop is located on retail level 1 above The Square. Our state-of-the-art new concept store can be easily accessed by lift, escalator or stairway, and boasts ample underground parking.

Along with upgraded and modernised facilities Uwe Koetter Jewellers has implemented many new innovations, including being the first jeweller in South Africa to offer an in-store bubbly bar, in partnership with Allée Bleue Wine Estate, and an on-site bridal and events consultancy presented by the renowned Aleit Group. Breaking news is that Uwe Koetter Jewellers will now also stock luxury watch brands Ebel, Frédérique Constant, Gucci, Hermés and Tag Heuer . Uwe Koetter Jewellers is also currently the only South African stockist of the technologically advanced VERTU cellphone range.

Replicas of our award-winning jewellery are stunningly displayed on mannequins around the showroom, including the brooch commissioned by former state president Nelson Mandela for Queen Elizabeth II during her state visit to South Africa in 1995.

Uwe Koetter caters to the tourism market and will continue to offer personalised workshop and educational tours to visitors eager to learn about diamonds, tanzanite, jewellery design and the art of gold, platinum and silver smithing. A dedicated coach drop-off point for larger tour groups is found in the front of the Cape Quarter on Somerset Road, while midi and mini-buses have dedicated parking bays in Dixon Street.

A series of launch celebrations will take place during July, but for those who are keen to experience the new facilities, please feel free to visit. No appointment required.
