DeHoop is going to celebrate Father's Day in style

De Hoop Fathers' Day Weekend is a Family Affair ! Every year is a new challenge: How to spoil Dad in the best way possible?

This year, gather the family on the weekend of 15 - 17 June and take a drive to the magnificent De Hoop Nature Reserve. The team at De Hoop knows how to help create special memories and has put together a diverse and full package for the weekend.

Apart from the magnificent natural surrounds, the pure country air and the delicious silence, De Hoop will be offering the following:
  • An incredibly special rate of R995 per four sleeper cottage (minimum 2 night stay)
  • This includes a free guided Bird and Fynbos Walk for the family along the Vlei
  • Free 3 course dinner for Dad in the Fig Tree Restaurant on Saturday evening
  • Free concert during dinner by the brilliant violinist Ivo Ivanov, who will entertain with popular light classical and movie favourites.
  • Family can join Dad for this wonderful dinner and music evening at R185pp

The rest of the weekend can be filled with a variety of activities.
A delicious Potje Dinner will be available on Friday evening (98.00 p.p., children under 12 half price) around a bonfire in the Courtyard. We'll also be offering a delectable Father's Day lunch at the Fig Tree Restaurant (R95.00 p.p. children under 12 half price).

Our past year's successes have made booking essential - please remember to make them!

There are plenty of activities available at De Hoop apart from the free Guided Bird And Fynbos Walk.

The Guided Mountain Bike Trail will give more energetic family members a chance of cycling amongst game and Fynbos and the Interpretive Marine Walk takes participants on an exploration of the coastal rock pools and sandy beaches while a qualified guide points out intriguing marine life you may never have noticed before.

At this time of the year, whale sightings are almost guaranteed, too.
If you aren't feeling that energetic, there are Quad Bike Trails on offer too, and gentle Guided Star Gazing at night.
