Where do we start, and how do we thank you and your wonderful team, for all you did for us over the weekend? It was THE most spectacular day for us all, it was a wonderful weekend. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making Julie and Craig's wedding what it was. Once we got to de Hoop, we just sat back and left it all to you. Your team of staff were fantastic - really, quite outstanding. Please thank them on our behalf. For us all, it was such a happy event and one that we will remember forever.

What's happening at De Hoop

1-2 June 2012 - Welcome De Hoop Whales with Style. Around 40% of the world's Southern Right Whale population starts arriving in the bay along the De Hoop shoreline in June, and you can join our welcoming party. This weekend kicks off the annual breeding season.

May, June & July 2012 - Traditional Sunday Lunch at Figtree Restaurant
Please join us for a family traditional Sunday Buffet Lunch @ R95per person for a 3 course lunch menu which includes a soup starter, main course and dessert. Bookings essential!

Windy weather conditions did not stop Thomas & Bridgette from sharing their Special wedding vows on the magnificent Koppie Alleen beach front, which was followed by fantastic celebrations under the De Hoop Opstal Figtrees!

Perfect weather for a perfect wedding Duncan & Kirsty sealed their wedding vows with a kiss on the beach which was where their guests joined them in ceremony, followed by a fabulous reception under the Opstal Figtrees!
